Brooke will get off her bootie and get to working out again!
I've had 6 days off school. It's been wonderful, don't get me wrong, but I've also been a lazy bum. I did run 5.5 miles on Thanksgiving, but that has been it. Zip, zilch, nada.
Tomorrow is my last meeting with the trainer before she set's me loose to do the workouts on my own. Wish me luck.

Trash Pile
What did blogger do to piss of yahoo?
For some reason, all of a sudden, all of my blog comments are going into my bulk trash file in my yahoo email. Ya know, that big file that I delete without even checking because, really, I don't need a larger pee pee, I don't believe you are really going to transfer that 3 million into my account and I am not in the market for knock off rolexes or illegal meds.
Well, maybe the illegal meds. :-)

Bosu
Have I told you yet that my trainer is evil? Evil & marvelous all at the same time. But she has introduced me to this little piece of equipment.
The Bosu Ball....
I look pretty ridiculous doing exercises like this....

and this...

I've also been seen doing squats on this contraption...which I am really bad at
and lunges, which I am better at.
And I have been sore in places I wasn't sure could be sore
But I am down 1.6 lbs this week....

See the thing is..
I am a blogging slacker.
But for the past few weeks, I haven't been a workout slacker.
My name finally was called for the free trainers at the gym & I am loving the accountability & the workouts. I am running more & feeling better.
I'm trying to be blog motivated, but right now school is sucking all the life out of me.

Missed milestone
Okay, so not really a milestone but sometime last week I surpassed 450 miles for the year. I ran 450 miles two whole months earlier this year than last year.
Ya, I wanted to run 1000 this year, but we won't bring that up right now..

Tagged
Ya, that's about all the creativity I have these days, I can answer questions people ask me, but I have no creativity of my own for blogging. I think it's because every spare brain cell is going toward nursing school.
Anyway, here goes:
Name 6 things you value:
1. My family: I have the most understanding supportive hubby I could ever ask for, he works hard for his family & sacrifices a lot for us. My kids are at an awesome age. They are fun & they do a lot to help me out. Especially on days I have to study.
2. My friends: since my hubby is gone a lot. It is invaluable how much I rely on my friends to help get me through some days.
3. The feeling I get after a good workout. (And between you & me, it's been a while since I had that feeling)
4. A really good fitting pair of jeans and a fuzzy sweater. (Girls, you got my back on this one?)
5. A good margarita.
6. A New Hampshire summer day.
Name 6 things you don't value:
1. People who act like they know everything!!!!
2. Muffin tops.
3. The 20 extra lbs I am sporting these days.
4. Running out of time.
5. Inconsistency
6. Walmart on a payday weekend.
